OMG! I won a contest!! A lot of people entered, and I won!!! :D The prize wasn't that much, I know...just a silly t-shirt and some candy, lol, but I won!!!!! I saw so many entries....maybe almost a thousand (well, probably not that many). And mine was definitely nothing special....but I won anyway!! Hehe, sorry for being goofy, but I had to get my excitement out, as I hardly ever receive any gifts, and never ever win any contests....ever!! I am a winner!!!!
As for the contest, well, it's better I didn't say what it was. Kind of silly and childish....but I still won, therefore I am special. ;)

Anyway, before I go to bed, I want to open a discussion here. What was the best thing you have ever won in a contest? Or if you were like me and had never won one, what was the best gift you've ever gotten?

I'd love to hear your stories. :)

So happy for you! Well, nothing won in the 11 years here, but Jaxxy got my NG Valentine's Day card! I remember when she first started posting to the Art Portal, and now she's an animator working with some good guys here. My entry was so politically correct it hurt, but it was girly and elaborate. Plus, Taraloveshentai added some little drawing to offset my derpiness, so it all worked out, I hope :3

Hehe. Well okay. Basically, it was a Valentine's contest for a video game that comes out soon. Completely not NG related or anything. Just a random contest I found online. :)

Not sure what your comments regarding trolling were, but to put it simply, trolling is when someone is an asshole simply to be an asshole. Most frequently, the person is an asshole to get a rise out of someone. As an example: if I made a news post making disparaging remarks about various religions, sexual orientations, ethnic groups, etc., for the sole purpose of pissing people off and having them spew their rage at me, that would be trolling.

So now you know, and knowing is half the battle! Congrats on winning the contest, by the way.
